Neal Phillip the current chairperson of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technology at Bronx Community College of the City University of New York. Dr Phillip has also served as Interim Associate Dean of Academic Affairs. Dr Phillip holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, a Masters in Environmental Engineering and dual Bachelors in Chemistry and in Meteorology. Dr Phillip has published journal articles on atmospheric pollution, water and wastewater pollution and on pedagogical educational research. Dr Phillip wrote a grant proposal which was the 2018 winner of the Council of International Educational Exchange $20,000 Study Abroad Access Grant to take 10 BCC/CUNY students to measure water quality and climate on the island of Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
