Dr. Virendra Nagarale is a Professor and Head of the Department of Geography at SNDT Women’s University, Pune. With a Ph.D. in Geography from North Maharashtra University, he has over 25 years of teaching experience and has been recognized with several academic honors, including the Prof. B. Hema Malini Eminent Geographer Award in 2019. Dr. Nagarale has published extensively, guided numerous Ph.D. and M.Phil. students, and actively participates in national and international conferences. He has also received grants for research projects focused on urbanization and geomorphology.
