About SNDT Women’s University

SNDT Women’s University is the first women’s university in India and South-East Asia, established by Maharshi Dr. Dhondo Keshav Karve in 1916. The university is dedicated to empowering women through education, with its headquarters located at the Churchgate Campus in Mumbai and additional campuses in Juhu, Pune, Chandrapur, and Shreevardhan.

The university has the authority to affiliate colleges and institutions across India with prior approval from the State Government.
